Considered one of the most renowned and respected experts in Spain in nautical tourism, Alberto de Zunzunegui Balbín assumed the position of General Director of Naviera Diamond in 2001 and has been the driving force behind the company ever since.

For as long as he can remember, the sea has always been a special place for Alberto, so much so that it has become one of his greatest passions and inseparable from his professional life. As a sailor he has accumulated a wealth of experience skippering ships all along the coasts of the Balearic and Canary Islands, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, the Caribbean... Many crossings and thousands of miles along both the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
 
In addition to this vital experience, in itself quite impressive, he has accrued throughout his travels a solid background in nautical charter as a sailor, client, captain and for several years now knowledge of the field as a professional. All of which come together to form a truly distinct curriculum, each part encompassing unique elements that are key to the success of any charter or nautical event.
